A. 
No vehicle shall be parked blocking any driveway, either public or private.

Any person violating this section shall, upon conviction, pay a fine of not less than $5 nor more than $15 and shall pay the costs of prosecution.

No person shall be parked within any space provided for as the exclusive parking section of the Milton Police Department.

The parking of vehicles along any side or curb of any street within the Town shall be in a single line. Double parking is prohibited.

No person shall park any vehicle on the streets of the business district in areas so designated by the State of Delaware or Town Council with a sign for a period of longer than the interval indicated on the sign.

Any person violating this section shall be fined not less than $10 nor more than $25 and shall pay the costs of prosecution.

A. 
No person shall park any motor vehicle owned or operated by him in any designated fire lane. This section shall not be construed to be applicable to the parking of emergency vehicles of the Town or the state when on official business. There are hereby established the following fire lanes within the corporate limits of the Town:
(1) 
On the west side of Front Street, in front of the Milton Fire Company.
(2) 
Within 15 feet of any fire hydrants.
B. 
Any police officer of the Town, while in the performance of his duty, may remove or cause to be removed from any fire lane, at the expense of the owner or operator of such motor vehicles, any motor vehicle parked or left standing in any fire lane when the owner of operator is unable, unwilling or not available to move such motor vehicle immediately.
C. 
Any person violating this section shall be fined not less than $10 nor more than $25 and shall pay the costs of prosecution.
With the consent, in writing, of the person charged with a violation under this article, the Chief of Police is authorized to accept and receive, without hearing, the minimum penalty for such violation if the penalty is paid within seven days from the date of the violation; or accept and receive, without hearing, the maximum penalty if such penalty is paid following the expiration of seven days from the date of violation.
A. 
No person shall stand or park any motor vehicle owned or operated by him/her on the West Side of Mulberry Street from Route 16 to the north end of the school property; from the south end of the school to Federal Street or Route 5, which is hereby designated as a "No parking or Standing" area.
B. 
No person shall park or stand any motor vehicle owned or operated by him/her in the following areas:
(1) 
The southeast side of Federal Street from the railroad track to Wharton Street.
(2) 
The northwest side of Federal Street from Wharton Street to Coulter Street.
(3) 
The southeast side of Federal Street from Coulter Street to Strawberry Alley.
(4) 
In front of the Milton Elementary School, Federal Street, from east driveway to railroad tracks.
(5) 
The east side of Union Street from Chandler Street to Route 16.
(6) 
The south side of Prettyman Street from Federal Street to Chestnut Street.

(7) 
The west side of Union Street from Broad Street to Magnolia Street.
(8) 
A limit of two-hour parking shall be permitted on the west side of Union Street from Route 16 to Orchard Street.
(9) 
Both sides of Chestnut Street from Front Street to Strawberry Alley.
(10) 
From Strawberry Alley south to Town limits on the west side of Chestnut Street.
(11) 
The north side of Tilney Street from Mulberry Street to Union Street.
(12) 
The south side of Tilney Street from the posted sign approximately 163 feet to Union Street.
(13) 
The northwest side of Federal Street from the corner of Federal and Front Street intersection approximately 71 feet to the posted sign.
(14) 
The right-hand side of Church Street from the corner of Chestnut Street to Federal Street.

No vehicle shall park upon any public street within the Town limits of the Town of Milton with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 10,000 pounds or more. This shall not apply to vehicles required to temporarily park for short periods of time not exceeding one hour for unloading/loading purposes with the engine not running.
