There is hereby established a Traffic Advisory
Committee consisting of the Chief of Police or his or her designee;
the Commissioner of Public Works or his/her designee; the Chief Engineer
of the Town or his/her designee; and the Monroe County Director of
Transportation or his/her designee. In addition, the Town Board may
appoint, as it deems necessary, members of the public to serve three-year
terms on this Committee. The Town Board may appoint other members
to the Committee as it may deem necessary to carry out the functions
of the Committee.
The following named public highways or parts
thereof, respectively, are hereby designated:

Arterial: signalized streets that serve primarily
through traffic and provide access to abutting properties as a secondary
function, having signal spacing of two miles or less and turning movements
at intersections that usually do not exceed 20% of the total traffic.
