Current boundary descriptions for districts
designated on said Zoning District Map are on file with the Village
Clerk.
After the date when this chapter become effective,
no building or premises, or any part thereof, in the Village shall
be used or maintained for any purposes other than the uses permitted
therefor by this chapter. No building or part of a building in the
Village shall be erected, enlarged, altered or maintained except in
conformity with the provisions of this chapter, nor shall any building
or part of a building in the Village be used or maintained if erected,
enlarged or altered other than in conformity with the provisions of
this chapter.
Where uncertainty exists as to the location
of any boundaries shown on the Zoning District Map or as described
above, the following rules apply:
A. District boundary lines are intended to follow streets,
rights-of-way, watercourses, filed subdivision plats or lot lines
or be parallel or perpendicular thereto, unless such district boundary
lines are fixed by dimensions or are otherwise shown on the Zoning
District Map.
B. Where district boundaries are indicated as following
approximately streets, rights-of-way or watercourses, the center lines
thereof shall be construed to be such boundaries.
C. Where district boundaries are so indicated that they
approximately follow lot lines, such lot lines shall be construed
to be such boundaries.
D. If the district classification of any land is in question,
it shall be deemed to be in the district requiring the larger minimum
lot area.
