The Town of Owasco is hereby divided into the following types of districts:
AR
Agricultural Residential District
R
Residential District
L
Lakeshore District
PDD
Planned Development District, encompassing AR, R and L Districts
FOD-S
Floating Overlay District - Solar

Said districts are bounded as shown on a map entitled “Zoning Map of the Town of Owasco,” adopted September 9, 2004, and certified by the Town Clerk, which accompanies and which with all explanatory matter thereon, is hereby made a part of this chapter.[1]

Where uncertainty exists with respect to the boundaries of any of the aforesaid districts as shown on the Zoning Map, the following rules shall apply:
A. 
Where district boundaries are indicated as approximately following the center lines of streets or highways, street lines or highway right-of-way lines, such center lines, street lines or highway right-of-way lines shall be construed to be such boundaries.
B. 
Where district boundaries are so indicated that they approximately follow the lot lines, such lot lines shall be construed to be said boundaries.
C. 
Where district boundaries are so indicated that they are approximately parallel to the center lines or street lines of streets or the center lines of right-of-way lines of highways, such district boundaries shall be construed as being parallel thereto and at such distance therefrom as shall be determined by the use of the scale shown on the Zoning Map.
D. 
In case of further uncertainty as to the true location of a zoning district boundary line in a particular instance, the Zoning Board of Appeals shall determine the location of such boundary.
No land is to be offered for sale or transfer of ownership unless it meets the requirements of Chapter 126, Subdivision of Land, of the Code of the Town of Owasco.
