[Adopted 12-1-1969 as Ch. 14 of the 1969 Code of Ordinances]
Upon the request of the affected property owner, the Village shall undertake repair of sewer laterals between the main sewer and the Village right-of-way line subject to the following conditions:
A. 
That the property owner, in the opinion of the Village Superintendent of Public Works, shall make a diligent effort to discover the location of the obstruction or breakage in the sewer.
B. 
That the obstruction or breakage in the lateral appears, in the opinion of the Superintendent of Public Works, to be in the Village right-of-way.
C. 
That the affected property owner reimburse the Village for all repairs to sewer laterals if it be determined that the obstruction or the break in the sewer line shall have been caused by the property owner or did in fact occur on his property.
D. 
That a deposit of not less than $100 and equal to the cost of repairs, as estimated by the Village Superintendent of Public Works, be paid to the Village Clerk-Treasurer by the property owner before repairs are commenced to be applied to the cost of repairs as determined by the Superintendent of Public Works, the surplus of such deposit to be refunded.
E. 
That the repair work be done at the convenience of the Superintendent of Public Works but as soon as is possible with regard to his workload.
