The Building Inspector is hereby empowered to issue permits for electrical
installations to licensed electrical contractors and to make inspections of
electrical work.
The Building Inspector is empowered and authorized to deputize in any
instance any certified electrical inspector to inspect any electrical installation
and to report the same to the Building Inspector, provided that such report
is without compensation from the Village.
The Building Department or Fire Department is hereby empowered to disconnect
any electric current, after notification to the owner or his recognized agent
or the occupant, when the current, in its opinion, is dangerous to life or
property or when it may interfere with the work of the Fire Department.
