Generally, landscaping shall be in accordance with the requirements set forth in Chapter 160, Subdivision and Land Development, and this article, and shall encompass the following:
A. 
All of property.
B. 
Street trees.
C. 
Other trees, including tree protection.
D. 
Building integration with land.
E. 
Sidewalk and driveway areas.
F. 
Berms and planting beds.
G. 
Walls and fencing.
H. 
Natural and man-made site features.
I. 
Screening ad buffering within the required buffer planting strip.
J. 
Screening of mechanical equipment and trash storage areas.
K. 
View enhancement.
L. 
Pedestrian spaces such as courtyards, plazas and building entrances.
A. 
Screening along property line adjoining other zoning districts.
(1) 
Width of buffer planting strip. The width of the buffer planting strip shall conform to the following table:

(2) 
Planting in buffer strip. Buffer planting strip of yard space which is landscaped for the full width and on which is placed a screen of sufficient density and of sufficient height to constitute an effective screen and give a maximum protection and immediate visual screening to an abutting property in accordance with § 160-50 of Chapter 160, Subdivision and Land Development. The required screen shall be permanently maintained and shall constitute a planting of dense evergreens or a compact hedge or, where otherwise specifically designated by this chapter, an appropriate wall, fence, suitable planting or combination thereof. All planting shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 160, Subdivision and Land Development. If natural buffering exists, it may be incorporated in the planting plan.
(3) 
Screening of mechanical equipment and trash storage areas not enclosed in a structure. All mechanical equipment not enclosed in a structure shall be fully and completely screened from view in a manner compatible with the architectural and landscaping style of the remainder of the lot. Such screening shall be subject to site plan and architectural review by the Township.
