It shall be lawful for any authorized organization, as defined in § 476 of Article 14-H of the General Municipal Law, upon obtaining the required license, to conduct the game of bingo within the territorial limits of the Town of Livonia, subject to the provisions of this chapter, Article 14-H of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York and Article 19-B of the Executive Law.

No games of chance shall be conducted under any license issued under this chapter on the first day of the week, commonly known and designated as "Sunday."
This chapter shall not become operative or effective unless and until it shall have been approved by the majority of the qualified electors of the Town of Livonia voting on a proposition therefor submitted at a general or special election held within said town.[1]
