The water service pipe of any building shall be installed in accordance with the ordinances of the Village of Massapequa Park for water supply.
A.
All plumbing fixtures shall be provided with a supply of water sufficient for flushing to keep them in a sanitary condition. They may be flushed through an approved flushometer valve and shall be adjusted to prevent the waste of water. Where flushometer valves are used, they shall be supplied with water under sufficient pressure and volume at all times to properly flush the water closets. Where this is impossible to accomplish with the supply direct from the street water main, flushometer valves are prohibited unless they are supplied from a house tank of approved capacity.[1]

C.
No plumbing fixture, device or construction shall be installed which will provide an interconnection between a distribution system of water for drinking and domestic purposes and a drainage soil or waste pipe so as to permit or make possible the backflow of sewage or waste into the water supply system.[2]
