Buildings or structures, except private residences,
shall not be occupied until a certificate of occupancy has been granted,
except that the Commissioner of Public Works may issue a temporary
certificate of occupancy for any part thereof.
The certificate of occupancy shall state briefly
location, occupancy, construction type, number of occupants and permissible
live load on floors, or any part thereof.
