[Adopted 3-22-2004 by L.L. No. 5-2004]
This article proposes to provide a consolidated schedule of fines to be charged by the Town of Wappinger in the enforcement of Town laws, ordinances, regulations and local laws and to permit periodic review and modification of such fines by the Town Board by local law adopted in accordance with this chapter.
The fines set forth in this article shall apply to the provisions of all local laws, ordinances, regulations and resolutions adopted by the Town of Wappinger and shall supersede any specific fine contained or referred to in such laws, ordinances, regulations or resolutions which have been adopted prior to the date of this article. References to section numbers (denoted by the "§" symbol) within § 122-20 of this article refer to sections of the Code of the Town of Wappinger from which the particular fine in question is derived. If no section number is indicated for a particular fee, that fine was enacted at the time of adoption of this article by local law.
