Waterfront revitalization — See Ch. 202.
There is hereby established a Waterfront Advisory Board.
A. 
The Waterfront Advisory Board shall consist of five members appointed by the Mayor of the Village of Saugerties. One such member shall be a duly elected Village Trustee of the Village of Saugerties.
B. 
The Board shall elect its own Chairman.
The members of the Board shall be appointed on a rotating basis with one member serving for one year, two members serving for two years and two members serving for three-year periods.
The duties of the Waterfront Advisory Board shall be as follows:
A. 
To advise the Mayor and the Village Board pertaining to waterfront matters, concerns and problems.
B. 
To coordinate activities in the coastal area.
C. 
To review local, state and federal actions for consistency with local policies and also to serve as a review body under the local State Environmental Quality Review Law.
D. 
The Waterfront Advisory Board shall have the right, subject to approval of the Mayor and Village Board, to draw upon existing Village staff and consulting services in the performance of its tasks.
