Pursuant to Vehicle and Traffic Law § 1660, Subdivision (a)17, all trucks in excess of 10 tons are hereby prohibited from the following roads and highways within the Town of Stony Point:
A. 
Central Highway from Route 210 (Central Drive) to the southerly town line.
B. 
Thiells Road from Route 210 to Filors Lane.
C. 
Wayne Avenue from Route 9W to West Main Street.

The regulations established in this resolution shall not be construed to prevent the delivery or pickup of merchandise or other property along such roads or highways which would otherwise be prohibited.

A. 
Appropriate signs stating "No Through Trucking in Excess of Ten Tons" shall be ordered and posted at the following intersections:
(1) 
Central Highway at Route 210 (Central Drive); Central Highway at the southerly town line; and all intersections between those two points.
(2) 
Thiells Road at Filors Lane; Thiells Road at Route 210; and Thiells Road at Washburns Lane.
B. 
Any violation of the provisions of this article shall constitute a traffic infraction and shall be punishable by a fine as set forth in Article IX of this chapter.
