A. Each seasonal
residence property shall be furnished with seasonal water from April
15 to October 15 at a rate of $200 in 2014, $250 in 2015 and $275
starting in 2016 each season or any part thereof. Each year-round
flat-rate property will be $325/year in 2014, $350/year in 2015 and
$375/year starting in 2016. Each metered year-round property will
be converted to a flat-rate billing as follows: $225/year in 2014,
$275/year in 2015, $350/year in 2016 and $375/year starting in 2017.
B. Commercial
properties shall be metered and the water rates shall be as follows:

(1) Up
to 10,000 gallons per billing: $100.
(2) Over
10,000 and less than 30,000 gallons: $7 per 1,000 gallons.
(3) Over
30,000 gallons: $8 per 1,000 gallons.
C. Residential
rates, whether seasonal or year-round, shall be due and payable in
advance on or before April 30 each year.

D. Meters
in commercial properties shall be read on or about April 15 and October
15 in each year and a bill rendered for water consumed in each six-month
period. The minimum charge for commercial properties shall be paid
1/2 on April 15 and October 15 in each year.
E. Unpaid
water charges in arrears for 30 days shall be subject to a penalty
of 10% of the amount due for 30 days or a portion thereof of delinquency.
When any bill is in default at year-end closings, such bill shall
be presented to the County of Orange for payment, and said bill will
then become part of the County tax lien on said property.
F. The following charges for services by the District
are hereby established:
(1) For making aboveground service tap on aboveground
main and installing service pipe: $250.
(2) For making three-fourths-inch tap on the main connecting
service pipe and installing curb valve and box: $1,000.
(3) There shall be an additional fee of $35 per linear
foot for any drilling or trenching in a state highway as measured
from the inside edge of the access trench on the side of the highway
where the main is located to the inside edge of the corresponding
trench on the opposite side of the highway. Such drilling in a state
highway is subject to the approval of the New York State Department
of Transportation as may be required by applicable statutes and regulations.
(4) The regular tap-in charge shall include 12 feet of
drilling or trenching for three-fourths-inch pipe in service line.
Where in excess of 12 feet of three-fourths-inch pipe in service line
is required to reach the applicant's property line, an additional
fee of $30 per linear foot will be charged. Payment of all fees for
drilling, trenching or tapping shall be made in advance to the Town
Board.
(5) Service taps in excess of three-fourths inch shall
be installed only upon consent of the Town Board and at such price
as shall be agreed upon.
(6) For turning on water and/or installing meter for nonseasonal
users: $100.
(7) For shutting off water and/or removing meter for nonseasonal
users: $100.
