GENERAL REFERENCES
Procurement policy — See Ch. 37.
A.
All deposits and investments will conform to all applicable
federal, state and other legal requirements.
B.
There will be a competitive rate of return.
C.
Investments will provide sufficient liquidity to meet
operating requirements.
D.
No funds will be invested in any manner that risks original
capital.
E.
Funds may be invested in commercial banks designated
by the Town Board each January. Banks will provide adequate collateral.
F.
Funds may also be invested in the Chautauqua
County Municipal Investment Program.
