The Supervisors, before approving or disapproving any dedicated road or street, shall act in accordance with the applicable provisions of Section 1140.1 of the Second Class Township Code, 1933, May 1, P.L. 103, art. XI, 1140.1, added 1956, June 1, P.L. (1955) 2021, 16, 53 P.S. § 67317 and as the same may be subsequently amended from time to time.
The Supervisors shall, before approving or disapproving any dedicated road or street, apply any applicable federal and state laws, rules and regulations, as well as any applicable Greene Township ordinances, rules and regulations.
In addition to applying §§ 82-1 and 82-2 herein, if a new road or street is to be opened in a section of the Township that has farmland or all or parts of one or more agricultural security areas, then the Supervisors, before approving or disapproving the new road or street, may require that an environmental assessment be done in accordance with federal and state standards. The Supervisors may also require a traffic impact analysis of the proposed new road or street on the agricultural security area(s) and/or other farmland.
