Pursuant to a petition submitted to the Village
Board of the Village of Geneseo, dated January 16, 1986; a public
hearing held on March 5, 1986, in consideration of said petition;
approval of annexation by the Village Board of the Village of Geneseo
on May 5, 1986; and adoption of the resolution of annexation by the
Village Board of the Village of Geneseo on June 2, 1986, the following
property is hereby annexed into the Village of Geneseo:
All that tract or parcel of land situate in
the Town of Geneseo, Livingston County, New York, bounded and described
as follows: Beginning at a point in the assumed northwesterly right-of-way
line of the Lima Road in the Village of Geneseo, where the said highway
line intersects the east highway line of the Village of Geneseo; thence
north 53° 55 54 east a distance of approximately 68.7 to an iron
pipe marking the southeast corner of a parcel of land denominated
"To be Retained by Evans" on a map of a survey by Craig E. Welch,
New York State licensed land surveyor, No. 49290, dated October 10,
1985 (L85-1708); thence continuing along said highway line north 53°
55 54 east a distance of 814.47 feet to an iron post, said point being
3,901.85 feet from the intersection of said highway line with the
center line of Country Club Road; thence north 36° 22 16 west
a distance approximately 1,063.6 feet to the intersection of said
line with the east corporate line of the Village of Geneseo; thence
southeriy along the east line of the Village of Geneseo to the point
of beginning, containing approximately 10.57 acres.
This local law shall take effect immediately.
