A Personnel Policy and Procedure Manual is hereby established for the Borough of Netcong.[1]

Editor's Note: The Personnel Policy and Procedures Manual is on file in the Borough Clerk's office.
The Manual shall be drafted by the Administrator with the advice of the Mayor and the Borough Council. The Manual shall be filed with the Municipal Clerk and shall become effective upon adoption of a resolution by the Borough Council.
Upon adoption of a resolution by the Borough Council approving the Manual, a copy shall be distributed to each employee subject to the Manual, who shall render a receipt for the Manual. Each new employee shall receive a copy of the Manual upon hire and the signing of a receipt for the same.
The Manual may be amended as necessary by the adoption of a resolution by the Borough Council and filing of a copy of the amendment with the Municipal Clerk. All employees shall receive a copy of any amendment to the Manual within 10 days of its adoption.
