Upon written notification by the Borough's Code Enforcement Officer or his/her designee of a violation of any provision of this article, said person shall have 72 hours from the date and time of the notice to correct the violation. Should the violation not be corrected within 72 hours of such notice, the person receiving the notice to correct shall receive a summons and be subject to mandatory appearance in Municipal Court. Any violation which continues after the seventy-two-hour notice period shall constitute a separate and distinct offense for each twenty-four-hour period that the violation has not been corrected. Any person who violates the provisions of this article shall be subject to a fine not exceeding $1,000 or imprisonment for a period not exceeding 90 days or a period of community service not exceeding 90 days, or any combination thereof, in the discretion of the Municipal Court. For any violation which is of a continuing nature, each day during which it continues shall constitute a separate and distinct offense.
