No person, firm or corporation shall erect any pole, sign or other obstruction on any of the streets or highways in the Borough of Palmyra until first submitting to the Clerk of said Borough a plan showing the location of such pole, poles, signs or other obstructions to be placed or erected on such street or highway and obtaining a permit from said Borough Clerk for the erection of the same.
Upon application being made to the Borough Clerk for a permit for the erection of any pole, sign or other obstruction on any street or highway of the Borough of Palmyra, said Borough Clerk shall withhold the issuing of the permit for the erection of such pole, sign or other obstruction until the application for the erection shall have first been approved by the Mayor of the Borough and the Chairman of the Streets and Roads or Highway Committee.
No permit shall be issued for the erection of any pole, sign or other obstruction on the street or highway in the Borough of Palmyra known and designated as "Weart Boulevard."
Any person, firm or corporation who or which shall violate any of the provisions of this article shall be subject to a penalty of not more than $75.
