It shall be unlawful for any person owning, keeping, harboring or having custody of any animal or animals to permit, aid, cause or allow such animal or animals to stray, flock, collect, walk, trespass or otherwise roam at large upon any public or private property, premise or roadway.
It shall be unlawful for any person owning, keeping, harboring or having custody of any animal or animals to allow a nuisance situation to develop by permitting or allowing or failing to control the animal or animals so that it or they make noise of a continuous, untimely, habitual or excessive manner so as to disrupt the normal peace, repose or solitude of those persons in the immediate vicinity within residential areas.
Animals are herein classified as any normally domesticated or adapted mammal commonly referred to as "livestock" or "barnyard animals," including but not limited to horses, ponies, donkeys, cows, pigs, sheep or goats, and shall include feathered vertebrate animals commonly referred to as "fowl" or "barnyard fowl," including but not limited to chickens, turkeys, ducks, pheasant or geese, and shall also include dogs and cats and other household pets, but shall not include such animals as small birds, fish, hamsters, etc., normally kept in a cage or container in the interior of a residential structure.

No person, which shall be defined to include a family unit, and no owner, as that term is defined in § 94-1 of this chapter, shall keep, harbor or have possession or custody of more than four dogs on any one residential premises within the Township except as otherwise permitted by local ordinances. This restriction shall not include the temporary keeping of puppies for a maximum period of 90 days which have been borne to a female dog kept on the premises at the time of birth of said puppies.

Any person, firm, corporation or association of parties who shall violate the provisions of Part 2 of this chapter (§§ 94-29 through 94-32, inclusive) shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable for each offense by a fine of not more than $1,000 or by imprisonment for not more than 90 days or to a period of community service not exceeding 90 days.
