Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 39:4.60, the Township does
hereby authorize charitable organizations, upon an application made
to the Township Committee to conduct solicitation campaigns, commonly
referred to as "coin tosses," within roadways in the Township of Washington.
Where the coin tosses are to be conducted on a county road, the authorization
of the Board of Chosen Freeholders must also be obtained before the
Township can authorize coin tosses. Applications for coin tosses shall
specify the roadway, date and time for such activity.
