The compensation of newly elected Supervisors shall be $75 per meeting beginning with their new term of office and the compensation for Supervisors currently serving a term in office shall remain at $50 per meeting during that term payable monthly; provided that the total compensation paid to any Supervisor shall not exceed the limits set in the Second Class Township Code, as the same may be amended from time to time.[1]

As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
MEETING
Includes all regularly scheduled meetings of the Board of Supervisors; and shall also include any specially scheduled public meetings; budget meetings; public hearings conducted before the Board of Supervisors and meetings on matters dealing with Township personnel, including but not limited to grievances, discipline and negotiation of collective bargaining contracts; provided that where any two of such meetings shall be held one immediately following the other, and where the Board of Supervisors remains assembled following the first meeting, then unless either meeting exceeds two hours in length, the two meetings shall be considered as one meeting, for purposes of compensation.
