[Adopted 9-26-1979 as Ch. 2, Art. III, Div. 6, of the 1979 Code]
A Board of Examiners for stationary engineers and firemen, consisting of three qualified engineers of at least eight years' experience is hereby created to conduct examinations at least four times each year.
Members of the Board of Examiners for stationary engineers and firemen shall be appointed by the Mayor for a period of four years.
Examinations by the Board of Examiners for stationary engineers and firemen shall be conducted according to the rules and regulations of the Act of Assembly of April 4, 1905, P.L. 102 (53 P.S. § 25311 et seq.), and Ord. No. 37-1907, as amended. The annual fee for any license issued hereunder shall be $10 per year and shall be collected by the Department of Public Safety.
