The offices of Secretary and Treasurer of the Borough may be held by the same person, who shall be appointed by Council to serve for an indefinite term at the pleasure of the Council and shall receive compensation for such services as the Council shall prescribe.
The person holding the offices of Secretary and Treasurer shall perform the duties of each office as set forth in the Act of February 1, 1966 [P.L. (1965) 1656, No. 581], as amended, known as the "Borough Code."[1]
