The Borough of Wilson shall charge for the following services, fees, and permits, payable to the Borough of Wilson, for the rendering of said services or permits according to the schedule of fees contained herein:

A.
Pavilion rental.
(1)
Private events. Persons renting pavilions for private events may use park facilities that are not already in use.
(2)
Events for nonprofit purposes or for the public benefit. Persons renting pavilions for nonprofit events or events for the public benefit may use park facilities that are not already in use.
(a)
Large and small pavilion, resident or nonresident: $25 per day, plus a $150 cash refundable cleanup deposit.
(3)
All public events must provide evidence of $1,000,000 liability insurance naming Wilson Borough, Wilson Borough Council and Wilson Borough employees as additional insured.
B.
Park rental.
(2)
Events for nonprofit purposes or for the public benefit: $25 per day, plus a $150 cash refundable cleanup deposit.
(3)
Rental of Meuser Park does not include the use of the pavilions or the bandshell area. They must be rented separately.
(4)
Public events held in Meuser Park and/or the bandshell will require the services of at least one police officer for traffic control. The person or organizations renting the facilities will be billed accordingly for police services. Public events are defined as craft shows, car shows, concerts, and related activities, etc.
(5)
All public events must provide evidence of $1,000,000 liability insurance naming Wilson Borough, Wilson Borough Council and Wilson Borough employees as additional insured.
C.
Bandshell rental.
(2)
Events for nonprofit purposes or for the public benefit: $25 per day, plus a $100 cash refundable cleanup deposit.
(3)
Bandshell rental includes the stage, sound system, and the seating area only.
(4)
Public events held in Meuser Park and/or the bandshell will require the services of at least one police officer for traffic control. The person or organizations renting the facilities will be billed accordingly for police services. Public events are defined as craft shows, car shows, concerts, and related activities, etc.
(5)
All public events must provide evidence of $1,000,000 liability insurance naming Wilson Borough, Wilson Borough Council and Wilson Borough employees as additional insured.
D.
Community center.
(1)
Private events. Resident only: $425 per day, plus a $150 cash refundable cleanup deposit.
(2)
Events for nonprofit purposes or for public benefit. Residents only: $50 per day, plus a $150 cash refundable cleanup deposit.
(3)
All public events must provide evidence of $1,000,000 liability insurance naming Wilson Borough, Wilson Borough Council and Wilson Borough employees as additional insured.

Health inspections and licenses.
O.
Grass/weed cutting or snow/ice removal from private property. The cost to remove will be passed on to property owner.
P.
Trash. The fees for collection and disposal of garbage placed for collection at the curb from which collection is made shall be as follows:
(1)
For each family unit, $127.50 per quarter, except for senior citizens 65 years and over living in a separate unit, in which case, the fee is $100.50 per quarter, for the collection of garbage and recycling, which entitles each unit to the collection of five bags or two thirty-two-gallon containers of garbage weekly, and the collection of one recycling container of up to a thirty-gallon capacity biweekly.
(2)
For hotels, restaurants, and other businesses and institutions electing to come under this subsection, the fees to be charged and the amount of garbage and recycling permitted for pickup shall be the same as set forth above for each family unit. Those hotels, restaurants, and other businesses not selecting collection must engage a private hauler and provide proof of contract to the Borough.
R.
Returned checks. Any check made payable to the Borough that is returned for insufficient funds, or is unable to be deposited and is returned for any reason, shall be subject to a $35 returned check fee.
S.
Copies. Any copies requested and made by the Borough shall be charged a fee of $0.25 per page.
T.
Miscellaneous.
(1)
Nonprofit language: Any and all provisions of this section, including but not limited to definitions, exemptions, reduced fees, alternative fee schedules, waivers, or preferential treatment applicable to "nonprofit," not-for-profit," or similarly designated organizations are hereby repealed and deleted in their entirety.
(2)
Mechanical device tax: $75 per machine. $300 penalty for under-reporting number of machines. $300 penalty for not reporting machines.
(3)
Permit cancellation fee (Code): $50.
(4)
Quality of life tickets appeal fee (Code): $500.

Any person who shall violate any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine not to exceed $300, together with cost of prosecution, or to undergo imprisonment for a term not to exceed 30 days; provided, each violation of any provision of this chapter, and each day it is continued, shall be deemed a separate offense.
