Fire prevention — See Ch. 104.
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation within the Borough of Wilson, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, to sell, give, discharge, fire, use, set off, ignite or explode any roman candle, rocket, sparkler, pistol, blank cartridge, torpedo, firecracker or any other fireworks, explosive noisemaking devices, explosive articles and substances whatsoever intended for pyrotechnical display; provided, however, that the Mayor may issue a permit for a community, civic or public display of certain fireworks upon the submission to him of evidence of proper qualification, experience and responsibility.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable for each offense by a fine of not more than $300 and costs of prosecution or, upon default in payment of the fine and costs, by imprisonment in the county jail for a period not to exceed 30 days.
