There shall be a Planning Board for the Village of Sag Harbor,
Suffolk County, New York, to be known as the Sag Harbor Planning Board,
consisting of five members appointed according to the requirements
of Article 6-A of the Village Law.
Pursuant to said article, said Planning Board is hereby authorized
and empowered to approve plats showing lots, blocks or sites, with
or without streets or highways.
Said Planning Board is authorized and empowered to pass and
approve the development of plats already filed in the office of the
Clerk of said county if such plats are entirely or partially undeveloped.

The Planning Board of the Village of Sag Harbor is authorized,
simultaneously with the approval of a plat or plats in accordance
with Article 6-A of the Village Law, to modify applicable provisions
of the Zoning Ordinance all in accordance with and to the extent permitted
by § 179-p of the Village Law. Such authorization shall extend to any lands in the R-1
One-Family Residence District. The Board of Trustees, however, must
give final approval to any plat submitted pursuant to § 179-p
of the Village Law, including but not limited to all conditions required by
the Planning Board as part of its approval.
The Village Clerk shall be directed to forthwith file a certified
copy of this resolution with the Clerk of Suffolk County.
