Rights-of-way between outside slope lines of
shoulders, ditches, paved integral swales or gutters shall be cleared
of all trees, shrubs, stumps, buildings, wooden structures and other
perishable matter. Within the area of the traveled way, shoulders,
paved integral swales and gutters, such perishable matter shall be
removed to a depth of two feet below finished grade. Except as may
be permitted by the Engineer upon consideration of the horizontal
and vertical geometry of a street, there shall be no obstructions
to vehicular traffic within 10 feet of the edge of the traveled way.
Such obstructions shall include but not be limited to trees and rock
faces.
