Pursuant to Section 7-131a of the Connecticut General Statutes, the
Town of North Haven hereby establishes a Conservation Commission for the development
and conservation of natural resources, including water resources, within its
territorial limits. Said Commission shall have all the powers and rights as
provided in said Section 7-131a.
Said Commission shall consist of seven members, who shall be appointed
in the manner provided by said statute within 30 days.
From and after the adoption of this ordinance, the members of the Commission
shall serve for terms of four years, except that the initial terms shall be
as follows: One member shall be appointed for one year, two shall be appointed
for two years, two shall be appointed for three years and two shall be appointed
for four years.
