Town of New Castle, NY Article VI One-Way Streets

§ 123-21 One-way streets designated.

The following public highways in the Town of New Castle are hereby designated as one-way streets in the direction and within the limits indicated:

Allan Place	South	From King Street to Station Plaza
Avenue A	East	From Crow Hill Road to Red Oak Lane
Highland Avenue	South	From King Street to Prospect Drive
Old Pines Bridge Road	South	From the south side of the pay station to the south side of Tertia Brook Bridge approximately 450 feet south thereof
Prospect Drive	East	From South Bedford Road to a point 240 feet west of South Bedford Road

§ 123-22 Penalties for offenses.

Any person violating the provisions of this article relating to one-way streets shall be guilty of a traffic infraction and shall, for a first conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of not more than $50 or by imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment; for a second such conviction within 18 months thereafter, such person shall be punished by a fine of not more than $100 or by imprisonment for not more than 45 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment; upon a third or subsequent conviction within 18 months after the first conviction, such person shall be punished by a fine of not more than $250 or by imprisonment for not more than 90 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
