The purpose of this chapter is to promote the health, safety, morals and general welfare of the inhabitants of the Borough by prohibiting certain adult business and entertainment uses in regions of the Borough adjacent to established residential uses.

As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
Within 250 yards.
Includes, but is not limited to, adult bookstores, adult movie theaters, distribution of pornography of any type, live adult shows, massage parlors and any other related uses.
Any housing unit in the Borough that qualifies for a housing permit under the Housing Code.
Adult business and entertainment uses are prohibited in areas adjacent to established residential uses in the Borough.
Whoever violates any of the provisions of this chapter shall be fined not less than $100 nor more than $1,000 or imprisoned not more than 10 days in the Borough lockup or not more than 30 days in the county jail or workhouse, or both such fine and imprisonment. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
