Assessment for taxes — See Charter § 8.
A. 
In accordance with the provisions of Title 22, Del. C. § 1101 et seq., the Town of Bethany Beach, effective as of the date set out hereinafter, hereby revokes its prior election to use the assessments and supplementary assessments for property situated in the Town as established annually or quarterly by the Sussex County Board of Assessment.
B. 
Commencing with the effective date stated hereinafter, the Town of Bethany Beach shall utilize the assessments established by the Town Board of Assessment pursuant to §§ 8.1 through 8.3 of the Town Charter.
Notice of the revocation of the Town's election to use the assessments established by the Sussex County Board of Assessment for purposes of real property taxes in the Town of Bethany Beach shall be given to the Sussex County Board of Assessment prior to March 1, 2002, and shall be published at least once a week for two weeks prior to March 1, 2002.
