A building permit, issued by the Town of Bethany
Beach, is required for any of the following activities within the
corporate limits of the Town:
A.
Construction of a building or structure or portion
thereof;
B.
Replacement of a building or structure damaged by
fire, natural catastrophe or act of God whenever replacement of structural
members or components is required;
C.
Initial installation of a new fuel tank or heating
and/or air-conditioning unit where one did not exist;
D.
Construction of a foundation and/or preparation of
a site for the relocation of a building within or from outside the
Town limits; or

E.
Construction or installation of any driveway.

A repair permit, issued by the Town of Bethany
Beach, is required to alter, replace or repair a building structure,
driveway or portion thereof within the corporate limits of the Town
of Bethany Beach.
