It is unlawful to stop, park or stand a vehicle within the right-of-way of State Route 550 within the Village of Stormstown (as bounded by the signs marking the Village of Stormstown).
The provisions of § 240-1 hereof are subject to suspension by order of the Chairman or Secretary of the Board of Supervisors, Zoning Officer or the Roadmaster of Halfmoon Township for specifically limited periods upon application of an individual whose residence is located along State Route 550 setting forth reasonable grounds for such suspension. As a condition of the granting of such suspension by the appropriate officer, the applicant shall post appropriate warnings of such suspension of parking restrictions during the period of the suspension.
The Department of Transportation, pursuant to 75 Pa.C.S.A. § 3353, is hereby requested to erect official traffic-control devices prohibiting violations of this article.[1]
