It is the policy of the County of York, consistent with the intent of the General Assembly, to require the owner or owners seeking to have property approved as homestead property or farmstead property to file an application one time only.

It is the policy of the County of York that the County Assessor shall randomly select filed homestead property or farmstead property exemption applications to review for false or fraudulent information.
