[Amended 10-6-1992 by L.L. No. 8-1992]
The Building Inspector may issue, subject to
such rules as the Board of Appeals may specify, a special permit for
the following temporary uses:
A. Temporary building or yard for construction materials,
equipment and sanitary facilities, when incidental and necessary to
actual construction or work on the same premises and for which work
a permit has been issued by the Village, provided that each temporary
permit shall be valid for a period not exceeding six months. However,
upon application, the Building Inspector may renew such permit for
successive periods of six months each, provided that not more than
four successive periods shall be permitted at the same location and
provided, further, that such temporary building shall be promptly
removed by the owner upon completion of such construction or work
in any case. Such special permit shall specify the size and location
of such building, yard or sanitary facilities, such size and location
being designed to minimize any potential adverse effects upon neighboring
properties while giving due consideration to practical needs relating
to the construction or work for which a permit has been issued.
B. An incidental use, essential to the proper maintenance
of a park or reservation, provided that such use is not specifically
prohibited by this chapter.
