The purpose of the P-1 Active Public Park District
is to designate publicly owned lands which are reserved for active
recreation in public parks and to establish regulations for the use
of land for public park purposes.
In the P-1 Active Public Park District, all uses shall be subject to the following regulations, except as they may be modified by the express standards and criteria for the specific conditional uses and uses by special exception contained in Article
XVI.
A. Minimum lot area.
(1) Community park: five acres.
(2) Neighborhood park: one acre.
(3) All other parks, parklets and recreation areas: none
required.
B. Minimum lot width.
(1) Community park: 100 feet.
(2) Neighborhood park: 50 feet.
(3) All other parks, parklets and recreation areas: 25
feet.
C. Maximum lot coverage: 25%.
D. Minimum front yard:
(1) Abutting any R District: 50 feet.
E. Minimum rear yard.
(1) All principal structures:
(a)
Abutting any S or R District: 50 feet.
(2) All accessory structures: 25 feet.
F. Minimum side yard.
(1) All principal structures:
(a)
Abutting any S or R District: 50 feet.
(2) All accessory structures:

Abutting any S or R District: 25 feet.

I. Maximum height: three stories, but no more than 45
feet.
