A.
Any person, firm, partnership or corporation who violates any of the provisions of this code shall, upon conviction before a District Justice, pay a fine of not less than $150 nor more than $1,000 and the costs of the legal proceedings, and in default of a fine, shall undergo imprisonment for a period not to exceed 30 days.
B.
In addition to the foregoing, anyone who fails to obtain a plumbing permit or a plumbing license when required by this code to do so shall pay a figure equal to double what the plumbing permit fee or plumbing license fee would have been if said permit or license had been obtained prior to the commencement of work.
