A. Traffic control signals shall be installed, maintained and operated at the intersections and locations described in Schedule I, §
276-34.
B. Every person shall obey the instructions of any traffic
control device applicable to him or her placed in accordance with
the provisions of this chapter.
The streets or parts of streets described in Schedule II, §
276-35 are hereby designated as one-way streets, and vehicles shall proceed along those streets or parts of streets only in the direction indicated.
No person shall make a turn of the kind designated (left, right, all) at any of the locations described in Schedule III, §
276-36, during the hours indicated on the day indicated.
The turning of vehicles so as to proceed in
the opposite direction, otherwise known as a U-turn, is hereby prohibited
on any of the Village streets.
Vehicular traffic facing a steady red signal is hereby authorized to turn, after stopping, as indicated at the intersections and locations described in Schedule IV, §
276-37, in accordance with the provisions of § 1111(d)2 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law.

A. The intersections described in Schedule V, §
276-38, are hereby designated as stop intersections, and stop signs shall be erected as indicated.
B. Except when directed to proceed by a police officer,
every driver of a vehicle approaching a stop sign shall stop at the
stop line but if none, shall stop before entering the crosswalk on
the near side of the intersection, or in the event that there is no
crosswalk, at the point nearest the intersecting roadway where the
driver has a view of the approaching traffic on the intersecting roadway
before entering the intersection.

A. The intersections described in Schedule VI, §
276-39, are hereby designated as yield intersections, and yield signs shall be erected as indicated.
B. The driver of a vehicle approaching a yield sign,
if required for safety to stop, shall stop at a clearly marked stop
line, but if none, then shall stop before entering the crosswalk on
the near side of the intersection, or in the event that there is no
crosswalk, at the point nearest the intersecting roadway where the
driver has a view of the approaching traffic on the intersecting roadway
before entering the intersection and the right to proceed shall be
subject to the provisions of § 1142 of the Vehicle and Traffic
Law.

The intersections described in Schedule XVI, §
276-49, are hereby designated as crosswalks, and appropriate markings shall be made upon the highway setting forth the boundaries of such crosswalks, and such signs as may be necessary or appropriate shall be erected indicating their location.
The maximum speed at which vehicles may proceed on or along any streets or highways within the Village is hereby established at 30 miles per hour, except that the speed limits for vehicles proceeding on or along those streets or parts of streets described in Schedule VII, §
276-40, shall be as indicated in said schedule.
