The City of Rehoboth Beach has maintained the Boardwalk as a pedestrian way generally parallel with the Atlantic Ocean. It is the express intention of the Board of Commissioners to continue to maintain the Boardwalk in generally the configuration and location where it has existed for a number of years. The purpose of these regulations is to control attachments to the Boardwalk, certain uses of the Boardwalk and other matters concerning the Boardwalk.
