This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the "Borough of Birdsboro Land Subdivision Regulations of December 1964."
The purpose of this chapter is as follows:
A.
To assure sites suitable for building purposes and human habitation.
B.
To provide for the harmonious, orderly and efficient development of the Borough.
C.
To provide for the coordination of existing streets with proposed streets, other public facilities and for adequate open spaces, for traffic, recreation, light and air.
D.
To provide for the proper distribution of the population, thereby creating conditions favorable to the health, safety, morals and general welfare of the residents of the Borough.
E.
To assure equitable and just handling of subdivision plans by providing uniform procedures and standards for both the observance of subdividers and Borough officials.
