A. 
A code regulating and controlling the location, construction, design, method of recirculation, filtration, disinfection, wastewater disposal, supervision and maintenance, bathing water quality of swimming pools and auxiliary facilities, the issuance of licenses and permits and fees therefor and providing penalties for violations thereof is hereby established pursuant to N.J.S.A. 26:3-69.1 to 26:3-69.6. A whole printed copy of said code is annexed hereto and made a part hereof without the inclusion of the text, and the same is hereby adopted and incorporated as if set out in length herein.
B. 
Said code established and adopted by this chapter is described and commonly known as the "Swimming Pool Code of New Jersey 1970," approved by the New Jersey Department of Health in booklet form and contained therein on pages one to nine inclusive.
Three copies of said Swimming Pool Code of New Jersey 1970 have been placed on file in the office of the Health Officer and in the office of the Secretary of the Board of Health of the Township of Chesterfield upon the introduction of this chapter and will remain on file there for the use and examination of the public.
A. 
No person shall operate, maintain, control, locate, construct or alter a swimming pool as defined in said code, unless a license or permit to operate the same shall have been issued by this Board of Health. Such permit or license shall be posted in a conspicuous place at such pool.
B. 
There shall be a charge as set forth in § 110-222 for such license or permit.

C. 
Licenses or permits issued or approved under the provisions of this chapter shall expire annually on December 31 of each year, and an application for renewal thereof shall be submitted together with the required fee prior to December 1 of each year.
Any person who violates any provision of or order promulgated under this chapter or code established herein shall, upon conviction thereof, be liable to a penalty of not less than $5 nor more than $500 for each violation. Each day that a particular violation continues shall constitute a separate offense.
