If any person or persons whatsoever shall sell
any squibs, rockets or other fireworks within this Borough, each and
every person so offending shall, upon conviction in a summary proceeding
under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure, be guilty of a
summary offense and shall be punishable by a fine of not more than
$1,000, plus court costs and reasonable attorneys’ fees incurred
by the Borough in the enforcement proceedings. Upon judgment against
any person by summary conviction, or by proceedings by summons on
default of the payment of the fine or penalty imposed and the costs,
the defendant may be sentenced and committed to the county correctional
facility for a period not exceeding 30 days. Each day that such violation
exists shall constitute a separate offense. In addition to or in lieu
of enforcement under this section, the Borough may enforce this chapter
in equity in the Court of Common Pleas of Lancaster County. This section
shall not be construed so as to prevent or prohibit the sale or casting,
throwing or firing of squibs, rockets or other fireworks within this
Borough on the fourth day of July in each and every year.

A. Conditions. A person who is at least 18
years of age and meets the requirements of this section may purchase,
possess and use consumer fireworks.
B. Prohibitions. A person may not intentionally
ignite or discharge:
(1)
Consumer fireworks on public or private
property without the express permission of the owner.
(2)
Consumer fireworks or sparkling devices
within, or throw consumer fireworks or sparkling devices from, a motor
vehicle or building.
(3)
Consumer fireworks or sparkling devices
into or at a motor vehicle or building or at another person.
(4)
Consumer fireworks or sparkling devices
while the person is under the influence of alcohol, a controlled substance
or another drug.
(5)
Consumer fireworks within 150 feet
of any structure.
C. Any violator of this section shall, upon
conviction in a summary proceedings under the Pennsylvania Rules of
Criminal Procedure, be guilty of a summary offense and shall be punishable
by a fine of not more than $1,000, plus court costs and reasonable
attorney's fees incurred by the Borough in the enforcement proceedings.
It shall not be lawful for any person or persons
to throw or cast stones, baseballs or other kinds of ball or other
missiles in any street, lane or alley in this Borough, and any person
or persons violating this section shall, upon conviction in a summary
proceeding under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure, be
guilty of a summary offense and shall be punishable by a fine of not
more than $1,000, plus court costs and reasonable attorneys’
fees incurred by the Borough in the enforcement proceedings. Upon
judgment against any person by summary conviction, or by proceedings
by summons on default of the payment of the fine or penalty imposed
and the costs, the defendant may be sentenced and committed to the
county correctional facility for a period not exceeding 30 days. Each
day that such violation exists shall constitute a separate offense.
In addition to or in lieu of enforcement under this section, the Borough
may enforce this chapter in equity in the Court of Common Pleas of
Lancaster County.

Except in necessary defense of person and property, and except as provided in §
163-5 of this article, it shall be unlawful for any person to use, fire or discharge any gun or other firearm within the Borough.
It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge any air rifle, air pistol, spring gun, spring pistol, B-B gun, bow and arrow or similar device, or any implement that is not a firearm but which impels a pellet of any kind with a force that can reasonably be expected to cause bodily harm, at any place within the Borough, except as provided in §
163-5 of this article, and except on a target range which is properly constructed to trap or stop the projectile as ascertained by the Susquehanna Regional Police Department.
This article shall not apply to:
A. Members of any organization incorporated under laws of this commonwealth
engaged in target shooting upon the grounds or property belonging
to or under the control of such organization.
B. Any law enforcement officers when used in the discharge of their
official duties.
Any person who violates or permits a violation of this article
shall, upon conviction in a summary proceeding under the Pennsylvania
Rules of Criminal Procedure, be guilty of a summary offense and shall
be punishable by a fine of not more than $1,000, plus court costs
and reasonable attorneys’ fees incurred by the Borough in the
enforcement proceedings. Upon judgment against any person by summary
conviction, or by proceedings by summons on default of the payment
of the fine or penalty imposed and the costs, the defendant may be
sentenced and committed to the county correctional facility for a
period not exceeding 30 days. Each day that such violation exists
shall constitute a separate offense, and each section of this article
that is violated shall also constitute a separate offense. In addition
to or in lieu of enforcement under this section, the Borough may enforce
this article in equity in the Court of Common Pleas of Lancaster County.
