Borough of Marietta, PA: Vehicle weight limits.

§ 326-6 Speed limits established.

When signs are placed according to the requirements of the Vehicle Code of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, as amended, the speed limit on all streets, alleys and other public rights-of-way in the Borough of Marietta, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, shall be 25 miles per hour, unless otherwise posted.

§ 326-7 Traffic control signals.

Traffic control signals shall be installed and operated at the intersection of those streets described below:

§ 326-8 Right turn on red signal.

Pursuant to the provisions of § 3112(a)(3)(ii) of the Vehicle Code, no person shall make a right turn (or a left turn from a one-way roadway onto a one-way roadway) on a steady red signal at the locations described below:

§ 326-14 Stop intersections.

The intersections described below are hereby established as stop intersections, and official stop signs shall be erected in such a position upon the first-named street as to face traffic approaching the second-named street. § 326-15 Yield right-of-way intersections.

The intersections below are hereby established as yield right-of-way intersections, and official yield signs shall be erected in such a position upon the first-named street as to face traffic approaching the second-named street. All vehicles and tractors approaching any such intersection upon the first-named street shall yield the right-of-way to any vehicle in the intersection or approaching on the second-named street so closely as to constitute an immediate hazard during the time that the operator of such vehicle or tractor is moving across or within such intersection:

§ 326-16 No-passing zones.

The zones described below are hereby established as no-passing zones, and it shall be unlawful for any person driving a vehicle to pass any other vehicle which is proceeding in the same direction:

§ 326-17 Closing of certain streets to certain vehicles.

It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any vehicle or tractor except a passenger vehicle (but not including any passenger vehicle drawing any trailer or towing any other vehicle) upon any of the portions of the streets described below; provided, however, that nothing herein shall prohibit the operation of any commercial vehicle or tractor upon any street or portion thereof listed below where such operation thereon shall be necessary in order to pick up or deliver any goods, wares, merchandise or material from or to any premises located upon such street or portion thereof:

It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any motorized vehicle of any sort upon any of the streets or alleys, or portions of streets or alleys described below; provided, however, that nothing herein shall prohibit the operation of any fire-fighting equipment or vehicle, or any ambulance or other EMT vehicle, or any police vehicles from traveling upon such street or alley or portion of street or alley.

§ 326-18 Vehicle weight limits.

It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any vehicle having a gross weight in excess of the weight indicated upon any of the streets of the Borough, except for those streets or portions thereof described below:
