Township of Chester, NJ Chapter 31 Municipal Agricultural Advisory Committee

§ 31-1 Establishment.

There is hereby established a Chester Township Agricultural Advisory Committee ("Committee").

§ 31-2 Membership.

The members of the Committee shall be appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the municipal governing body.

§ 31-3 Committee to report to Planning Board.

The Committee shall report to the municipal Planning Board.

§ 31-4 Composition.

The Committee shall be composed of at least three, but not more than five members who shall be residents of the municipality, with a majority of the members actively engaged in farming and owning a portion of the land they farm.

§ 31-5 Duties and responsibilities.

The Committee shall perform the duties and responsibilities as set forth in P.L. 1999, Chapter 180.
