Borough of Lititz, PA Article VII Planning Commission, Regional

§ 5-22 Participation authorized.

The Borough of Lititz does join and associate in the creation of a Regional Planning Commission, to be known as the "Lancaster Regional Planning Commission," in conformity with the Act of August 9, 1955, P.L. 323, as now or hereafter amended.[1]

§ 5-23 Borough Representative.

There is created the position of Official Representative of the Borough of Lititz on said Regional Planning Commission, which position shall be filled from time to time by the Council, said Official Representative to serve for a one-year term.

§ 5-24 Execution of agreement authorized.

The President of Council is authorized to execute the Articles of Agreement, in the form submitted to the Council by the Organizational Committee for Regional Planning, and the Secretary is directed to attest the signature and place the corporate seal hereon and forward a copy of this resolution to the acting Secretary of the Regional Planning Commission.

§ 5-25 Granting of financial and contractual authority.

The Lancaster Regional Planning Commission is authorized to receive and expend federal, state and other funds from private and public sources and to contract with the United States, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and other private and public agencies with respect thereto.
