Article I Legal Fees for Collection

§ 14-1 Approval of fee schedule.

The borough does hereby approve a schedule of attorney's fees pursuant to Act 1 as set forth on Exhibit A attached hereto.[1]

§ 14-2 Notice required prior to fee assessment.

At least 30 days prior to assessing or imposing attorney's fees in connection with the collection of a delinquent account, the borough will mail to the owner, notice that the borough intends to impose or assess attorneys' fees. Said notice shall include instructions on how the recipient of the letter may avoid the payment of attorneys' fees.

§ 14-3 Statutory authority.

This Article is ordained and enacted pursuant to Act 1 which amends 53 P.S. § 7106(a).
