No person shall place any article on or in the
public highways or watercourses dangerous to the traveling public
or likely to frighten horses or to damage vehicles or leave unharnessed
vehicles standing thereon between sunset and sunrise.
No person shall unnecessarily place on the public
highways any building materials or appliances or shall permit the
same to remain for any longer time than may be necessary. During such
time as said highways may be obstructed, proper lanterns, as danger
signals, must be conspicuously placed thereon at night.
Any person violating any of the provisions of
this article shall incur and pay a fine of $5 to be collected according
to law.
