It shall be lawful for any authorized organization upon obtaining a license therefor, as provided in Article 14-G of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York, to conduct the game of bingo within the territorial limits of the Village of Saranac Lake, subject to the provisions of Article 14-G of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York and the provisions of the State Lottery Control Law.
This chapter shall take effect April 1, 1958, provided it shall be approved by a majority of the persons of such Village of Saranac Lake, qualified by law, voting on a proposition therefor submitted at the next annual Village election.
